Dr. Mohammad Washid is a Strategy and Sustainability Consultant with over 25 years of experience in the corporate, consultancy, and academic sectors, out of which he spent more than 15 years in Middle East Oil and Gas industry working for QatarEnergy and SABIC, assessing and advising on global and regional oil, gas, petrochemical and emerging energy projects and opportunities for its competitiveness, strategic fit, JV project development and investment decisions. During his tenure at QatarEnergy, he led and facilitated the implementation of BCM (business continuity management), ERM (enterprise risk management) and he was Lead Auditor for QMS (quality management System).

He actively participated and contributed to various prestigious forums, committees, and associations like Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), Middle East Petrotech, World Petroleum Congress (WPC) and Gulf Downstream Association (GDA). He is also the active member of Business Continuity and Resilience (BCR Network), Qatar India Management Association (QIMA), and Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC, Qatar).

He was the Conference Program Director for Business Continuity and Resilience Conference 2023 held in Doha.
