Global CIO Forum, in collaboration with the World CIO 200 Summit 2024, invites graduate and postgraduate students to participate in an exciting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) paper competition. This initiative is part of our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community empowerment, aimed at fostering innovation and supporting the next generation of technology leaders.

The top three students will win an all-expenses-paid trip to South Africa in September to attend the Grand Finale of The World CIO 200 Summit. This prestigious event offers unparalleled opportunities to engage with industry leaders, attend leadership masterclasses, participate in advanced tech sessions, and witness groundbreaking innovations in technology.

Objectives

Program Details

  • Open to all graduate and postgraduate students enrolled in accredited universities.
  • Papers must focus on a topic within the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • Papers should be original, unpublished, and written in English. (Use of any generative AI is prohibited and papers will get disqualified)
  • Submissions must include an abstract (maximum 250 words) and the main paper (maximum 5000 words).
  • Papers must adhere to academic standards, including proper citations and references.
  • Deadline for submission: [30th July].
  • Originality and innovation.
  • Relevance and impact on the STEM fields.
  • Clarity, organization, and quality of writing.
  • Feasibility and practical application of the research.
  • An esteemed panel of judges comprising CIOs, academic professionals, and industry experts will review the submissions.
  • The top three papers will be selected based on the evaluation criteria.
  • Winners will be notified by 5th August 2024
  • Winners names will be published in established publications and given prominent coverage
  • All-expenses-paid trip to South Africa to attend the Grand Finale of The World CIO 200 Summit in September 2024.
