My name is Essam Elsayed and I am the IT Director  for Sinai Cement.

Driving the IT Digital Transformation within Sinai Cement (member of Vicat group).

I am also actively driving the digital agenda within the Group. Focus on closer involvement with our business counterparts in creating deeper business value.

Provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust, and secure information technology environment throughout the company.

The primary responsibilities encompass a wide variety of strategic technology issues:

• Control IT budget and ensure it complies with stated goals, guidelines, and objectives.
• Mapping business processes / requirements to applications & systems.
• KPIs and statistics reporting to local senior management and regional IT management, leading the team in strategic planning. Utilizing and maximizing technical skills for the team.
• Ensure the career continuity development of the roles and responsibilities of the IT stuff.
• Analyze and evaluate IT risks and depict solutions to mitigate risks identified.
• Unify the country IT suppliers' contracts to target the best cost reduction amounts and better SLA.

I spent 23 years in information technology roles in the Cement Industry. Most recently, I served as Sinai Cement IT Director from 2019.
