Dr. Hasan Kadhem is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and serving as the Dean of the College of Engineering and Computing, at the American University of Bahrain (AUBH). With over two decades of experience in the IT industry, Dr. Kadhem has excelled in various domains, including academia, research, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software development, professional training, and consultation.

Dr. Kadhem has demonstrated his commitment to addressing market needs by initiating and participating in the development of several cutting-edge computing programs, courses, and professional training, such as cybersecurity, data science, and AI. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Tsukuba (Japan) in 2011 and was honored with the Computer Science Chairman Award for his exceptional research in database encryption. Additionally, he holds M.Sc. degrees in Information Technology and Computer Security from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) in 2007 and a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Qatar in 2003.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kadhem has held diverse roles, including Assistant Professor, IT & Analytic Manager, Computer Specialist, Professional IT Trainer, and IT Consultant. His professional journey is further distinguished by several professional certifications including CEH, COBIT, MCSE, and MCSD.

Dr. Kadhem's research interests encompass a broad range of subjects, including cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, big data, web and mobile applications, and E-learning. He actively contributes to the advancement of knowledge through his publication of numerous scientific research papers in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences. His contributions have been recognized with several accolades, including awards for the best paper, presentation, and distinguished research papers.
