Yudhistira Nugraha is the Head of the Bureau of Communications and Public Relations at Indonesia’s Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. He previously served as Head of the Ministry’s Centre for Data and Information Technology, where he led the development of Rumah Pendidikan, Indonesia’s integrated digital education ecosystem and a winner of the WSIS Prizes 2026 in e-Government Category.

From 2019 to 2023, he served as Director of Jakarta Smart City, leading data-driven and citizen-centred digital transformation initiatives, including the development of the JAKI super-app. With experience spanning government technology, cybersecurity, data governance, and strategic public communication, he advocates for digital transformation that strengthens institutional capability, public trust, and meaningful public value.

He holds a D.Phil. in Cyber Security from the University of Oxford and a Master of Information and Communication Technology from the University of Wollongong. His current focus is integrating technology, artificial intelligence, and public communication to support inclusive, trusted, and human-centred government transformation.
