Sheridan is a technology and people leader with a 27-year experience across multiple industries from the academe, transportation & logistics, telecoms & ISP, technology consulting, IT Business Process Outsourcing and most recently Life Sciences and Biotech. He is a Grand Finalist to the 2023 World CIO 200 global awards in Baku, Azerbaijan and an Awardee to the 2023 World CIO 200 South-East Asian Region category. Prestigious awards granted by the World CIO Forum to selected transformative technology leaders that drives organizational excellence. As a corporate leader, Sheridan’s expertise are in corporate strategies, startups, mergers & acquisitions, disruptive technologies, business transformation, business development, technology operations management, change management, service delivery and employee engagement with a strong focus on the Asia Pacific business segment. He currently leads Thermo Fisher Scientific’s APAC Clinical Research Group’s Information Technology division as the Region Head, directly responsible for 23 sites in 12 countries across Asia Pacific. He is also the head of the APAC IT Centers of Excellence located in India and the Philippines with over 300 technology professionals providing Tier1 to Tier4 technology support services to 36,000 colleagues across 86 sites in 50 countries globally. In his expanded role, he serves as a member of the Global IT Senior Leadership Team representing the APAC Region and concurrently a member of the APAC Senior Management Team providing senior leadership oversight across the Clinical Research Group’s business operations within the APAC Region. Now in his 12 th year in Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Clinical Research Group, Sheridan was a key factor in the success of several strategically high-profile integration projects across China, Japan, India, Philippines, Korea and Australia brought about by merger & acquisitions and business expansion initiatives of the company.
