Shaukat Ali Khan is a Board Director and internationally recognised Chief Digital & Information Officer with more than 20 years of experience leading technology, data, AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation across healthcare, government, higher education, pharmaceuticals, humanitarian organisations, and global enterprises.

He currently serves as Group Chief Digital & Information Officer (Group CDIO) for Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM), and Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service (GMFRS), where he leads digital, data, AI, and technology strategy for some of the UK's most critical public services.

Previously, he held executive leadership roles as Executive CDIO, Executive Director and Board Member within the National Health Services (NHS) in United Kingdom, Global CIO at Aga Khan University, CIO at the University of Central Asia, and senior global technology positions with Novo Nordisk and UNICEF Headquarters in Copenhagen.

Known for delivering large scale transformation programmes and building high performing teams, Shaukat has extensive international experience across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the North America. He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society (BCS), a graduate of Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden, and an executive leadership alumnus of Harvard Business School.

His achievements have been recognised through more than 60 international awards, including the World CIO 200 Legend Award, the CIO 100 Award, and recognition among the 100 Legacy Makers featured in Times Square, New York. He is a frequent keynote speaker, thought leader, and advocate for responsible innovation, digital trust, and the transformative power of emerging technologies.
