Dr Shankar is a serial founder. His latest venture is Eartheye Space, a leading space-tech company that provides near-real-time situational awareness of Earth from space.

The company serves defence, civil governments, and commercial clients globally from its HQ in Singapore and Sydney. Prior to founding Eartheye Space, Shankar co-founded Antaris Inc., a venture-backed startup. Before that, he consulted for leading NewSpace companies and served as vice president at Planet Labs, a publicly listed company.

Before working in space technology, Shankar held leadership positions at technology corporations, including Hewlett-Packard and OpenText. Shankar graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India, and holds an MBA and PhD from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia.
