Patrick Pitchappa graduated as an Electronics & Communication engineer in 1995. After 2 years in the electronics industry, he moved into Information Technology (IT) in 1997. Patrick began his IT career as a Systems and Networks engineer and now has 31 years of total industry experience covering all aspects of IT Infrastructure & Security. He currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer for the UAE based Equiti Group.

Patrick previously worked with five banking & financial services giants: First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), BNP Paribas, Société Générale, Goldman Sachs and Visa. He has lived and worked across three countries - India, USA and UAE. He has served in the capacity of a CISO since 2016. Married with three kids, Patrick is an avid sports lover with 22 marathons already under his belt. Patrick and his family are based in Dubai.
