Obed Agyarko Frimpong is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of First National Bank Ghana Limited with over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security governance, technology risk management, and digital resilience within the financial services industry.

He has led key initiatives including ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, Information Security Management System (ISMS) implementation, cyber risk management programs, and major banking transformation projects. Obed holds several globally recognized certifications, including C|CISO, CRISC, ISO/IEC 27001 Senior Lead Implementer, and Lead Auditor.

An international speaker and thought leader, he has shared insights at events such as GITEX Africa and Africa Tech Festival. He is the 2024 World CIO 200 Global Champion and a multiple-time World CIO 200 Master Category award recipient.
