Nilton Mutungi is a seasoned ICT professional with over 15 years of experience, including 13 years in senior leadership roles, specializing in digital transformation, IT strategy, and enterprise infrastructure management. His expertise covers database administration, cybersecurity, network management, and AI-driven automation, enabling organizations to achieve operational efficiency and scalability.

As the Director of ICT & E-Services at Women Enterprise Fund (WEF), Nilton has led groundbreaking digital initiatives, including the automation of loan accessibility for Kenyan women, reducing processing time from 45 days to just 24 hours. His leadership ensures seamless IT governance, cybersecurity resilience, and digital innovation, positioning WEF as a technology-driven financial enabler.

Prior to WEF, Nilton held senior IT roles at Smollan Kenya Limited and SISDO Microfinance, where he spearheaded projects such as SMART mobile applications and AI-powered chatbots, enhancing customer engagement and service delivery.

He holds a Master of Science in Data Communication and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from KCA University. Passionate about leveraging technology for economic empowerment, Nilton continues to drive transformational ICT solutions that bridge the digital divide and enhance business efficiency.
