Miao Song joined GLP on 22 June 2021 as Global Chief Information Officer/EC member.

Prior to GLP, Miao was the Global Chief Information Officer and board member of Mars Petcare.

She led Digital Transformation of Mars Petcare in the past 3.5 years to elevate technology, digital and data capabilities. She is well known by the industry, has received some external awards in the past few years.

Prior to MARS, she worked in Johnson& Johnson as VP/CIO ASPAC. She has over 20 years of global experience in IT industry, with broad exposure to the Oil/ Energy/Natural Resources as well as Consumer Goods and Health Care business, having worked for Royal Dutch Shell for 14 years, Nestle for 5 years. She has extensive IT Management experience, having headed all IT disciplines in both global and regional capacity – Strategy and Planning, Program Management, Project Delivery, Delivery Management (Application and Infrastructure Support and Operations), Business Systems Management, Business Engagement, IT Supplier Management, and IT transformation.

Miao graduated from the Peking University with a bachelor’s degree in Information Management and master degree of Business Administration from Beihang University.

Miao has been living and working in China, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Singapore and Belgium, etc. She is a strong sponsor and supporter of Diversity and Inclusiveness, she headed the Netherlands D&I council, also led IT Women Leadership Institution in Johnson & Johnson and Mars.
