Meslum AlKindi was born in the historic city of Nizwa, Oman on 1974. He pursued his education at Muscat Technical College, where he developed a strong foundation in technical skills and knowledge. Meslum's career has been marked by significant achievements and contributions in his field. He began his professional journey as an A/C technician, a role he held for two years. He then transitioned to the IT sector, working as an IT supervisor for two years before advancing to the position of IT manager, a role he excelled in for 18 years. His expertise and leadership skills led him to become an Area IT Champion for five years. Since 2019, Meslum has been serving as the Area IT Director, where he continues to drive innovation and excellence. In his current role, he is responsible for overseeing the IT departments of nine hotels located all over Oman. One of his major and latest achievements has been moving 45% of the current solutions to cloud-based versions, with the aim to transition major solutions to the cloud in the next two years. Meslum's dedication and impact in the IT field have been recognized globally. He was honored as one of the top CIOs around the world, reflecting his influence and leadership in the industry. Additionally, he has received awards for CIO Legend and was appointed as one of the CIO Ambassadors for Oman. Outside of his professional life, Meslum enjoys a variety of hobbies that keep him engaged and inspired. He is  passionate about reading, traveling, gaming, and playing ping pong, which provide a satisfied balance to his work life. Throughout his journey, Meslum has achieved numerous milestones that highlight his commitment and excellence. His personal motto, “pass the knowledge to others,” guides him in both his personal and professional endeavors.
