I am Maurine Awuor Onyango from Kisumu County, Kenya. I have concrete and elaborate background in ICT related field. Ongoing PHD in Business Information Systems, a holder of Master’s Degree in Computer Systems, Bachelor Degree in Information Technology from JKUAT.

I have worked in different institutions under different capacities and have over 15 years in the Tech field. At Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology I was ICT officer and ERP- Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. Then I moved to Maseno University in October 2017 as a Tutorial Fellow in the Department of Information Technology. Coordinate and managing student’s lectures’ and research. I joined County Government of Kisumu as the Director ICT, where I advocate for use of technology in service delivery, managing operations and processes, solving problems and decision making. In Kisumu County I championed for Digital literacy for the youths and was the focal technical person for Zone01 Kisumu Programme.

Currently I am the Chief Officer ICT and Public Service Transformation at County Government of Siaya.

My passion and vision is to digitally transform County Government of Siaya. I am an advocate for use of technology in service delivery, managing operations and processes, solving problems and decision making. I have experience and skills in leadership and management necessary for service delivery to the public and I strive to offer better service and improves lives for our citizens.
