K V Kuganathan (“Kugan”) is a visionary Chief Executive Officer and Chief Information Officer with over 24 years of leadership in Enterprise IT Governance, Digital Transformation, , and AI-led Innovation across the Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Capital Markets. His contribution to the industry has been honoured with the CIO of the Year award in 2023 and a ranking among the Top 25 Digital Transformation Leaders in 2024.

Kugan currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Director of AINSUNHZ Global Technology Pte Ltd, Singapore, He concurrently holds the position of Group Chief Information Officer at JXG Group, Colombo, Sri Lanka

Beyond his executive responsibilities, Kugan holds several influential board and advisory positions. He serves as a Board Member of the Samurdhi Development Bank and as a Council Member of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, UK, having previously served as Chairman of BCS Sri Lanka . He also chairs the National Email Policy Committee under Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Technology, and sits as a Jury Member for the National ICT Awards, the SLASSCOM Ingenuity Awards, and the Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA).

Kugan holds an MBA and an MSc in IT Consultancy, together with a BSc (Hons) in Computing & Information Systems, from London Guildhall University, and is a Chartered IT Professional of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, UK. A sought-after public speaker at local and international conferences, he shares insights on digital transformation, cybersecurity, and the future of AI-led finance, and remains a passionate advocate for digital financial inclusion.
