Jots is an experienced CIO and Board Advisor/Non-Executive Director with a twenty-five year career delivering successful strategic digital, data and cyber security and technology change, in large complex global organisations, across higher education, critical national infrastructure, healthcare and professional services sectors. Jots has been a trail blazer throughout her career, and she is one of a handful of female CIOs in UK Higher Education (HE), and the only BAME female CIO in the UK HE sector. She is recognised in the UK CIO 100 (2020-2024), Global 200 CIOs (2024), UK Tech 50 2024 (lists the most influential leader in technology) and top 50 Cyber Security Executives (2020). In her current role as as CIO of City St George’s, she leads a team global team of 300 staff and is a member of the Leadership Team (Executive Board). In 2023, Jots was hired as the inaugural CIO for City St George’s, to deliver ambitious technology and digital change across the organisation. She has successfully secured £50M investment from the Executive Board to deliver.
