Jason Heng is the Head of IT at YTL Communications for over 15 years, overseeing a team of over 120 staff across BSS/OSS, infrastructure and platforms, software development, security, and IT project management. He played a key role in launching WiMAX, 4G LTE, and 5G NSA networks, and was instrumental in shaping YTLComms' digital roadmap. Prior to joining YTL Communications, Jason spent 12 years in other telecommunications and healthcare companies in Malaysia & Singapore. Looking ahead, his focus is on leveraging Generative AI (GenAI), AIOps, and IoT to revolutionize the telecom industry, as well as applying IoT innovations in manufacturing, port operations, and healthcare.
