Benard Kinyua Kariuki is an accomplished ICT professional and digital transformation leader with over 20 years of experience in ICT governance, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, digital government, and technology-enabled service delivery. He currently serves as the County Director ICT at the County Government of Nyandarua, where he provides strategic leadership in the development and implementation of ICT initiatives that support institutional performance and citizen-centric service delivery. Benard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering and a Master of Science in Information Technology Management. He has professional certifications in CISM,CISA, CCNA, PRINCE2, ITIL, Cisco CyberOps, Cisco DevNet, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, MCSE, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Generative AI Professional, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Multicloud Architect Professional. He has also undertaken Strategic Leadership Development and Senior Management programmes.

His areas of expertise in both private and Public Sector includes ICT governance, cybersecurity, cloud computing, enterprise applications, data governance, AI, digital transformation, ICT infrastructure, business continuity, and IT service management.
