Audrey Mnisi Mireku is a seasoned cybersecurity and risk management executive currently serving as the Banking Operations, Risk and Cybersecurity Officer at the Ghana Association of Banks (GAB). She plays a pivotal role in strengthening cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk governance across Ghana’s banking sector. With over two decades of experience in information security, financial services, and digital risk management, Audrey has built a distinguished career spanning banking, telecommunications, and the public sector. At GAB, she leads industry-wide initiatives focused on cybersecurity resilience, fraud prevention, and secure digital transformation. Her work involves close collaboration with regulators, financial institutions, and policymakers to enhance information security standards and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. Audrey has contributed significantly to national cybersecurity development, including supporting the establishment of Ghana’s Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-GH) and contributing to the development of the Cybersecurity Act, 2020. She is also recognized internationally, serving on the board of FIRST (Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams), where she contributes to global cybersecurity collaboration and threat intelligence sharing.
