[Gemini AI Summary] Not written by AI. Authentically and in a very straightforward way, I have real experience of applied AI in business for business benefit. I have real experience of things that aren't perfect, have failed and require cultural focus. Change is f'ing hard. Delivery is always non-negotiable. I can help. So if you are still reading I've had the most amazing oppurtunities afforded by some exceptionally creative, commercial and highly able CEOs and Chairs across consulting, telco, energy, aviation and insurance. I love sectors that need modernising/challenging for Customers!!. With clear remit I bring fast, high energy options working closely with all colleagues. Simplifying legacy, accelerating commercial relevant technologies, whilst along the way creating a shared sense of purpose. I'm of course a technology/geek at heart - but in reality commercial, customer product, outcomes and high perfomance (combined with code/engineeering excellence) drive me. These then drive the amazing brands I have been part of. Simple. CIO/CTO/COO/CDO [ hence the CxO] I have straddled these roles and often wider into businesses as required in service of the purpose and ambition. Application, infrastructure, operations with strategic partners or in-house, usually both with a bias to engineering and digital product excellence. Leveraging the latest digital, data and now of course AI tooling. No doubt quantum will be the next to be added. I believe there is always a way through, navigating complex scenarios, stakeholders and often unknown roadmaps. Bringing clarity to the paths, available-across people, culture, technology and process. Friction is required, for light not heat! so that we can go further and improve as individuals and as a team. Always learning (but fast!)..currently thinking carefully about 2025/6 challenges next steps and whom to work with/for. [Update - I decided rollercoasters & LEGO was the way to go!]
