Amr Metwally is an internationally recognized healthcare executive, innovation strategist, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of leadership experience across government and private sectors. He has led major healthcare, digital transformation, and innovation initiatives exceeding US$7 billion across Qatar, the GCC, and internationally.

He currently serves as Director of the ITQAN Clinical Simulation & Innovation Center at Hamad Medical Corporation, leading advancements in clinical simulation, healthcare innovation, AI, digital health, and sustainable business models. He also contributes to Qatar’s national healthcare innovation agenda through Ministry of Public Health initiatives and previously served as a national program manager within Qatar’s COVID-19 National Rapid Response efforts.

Amr was named Chief Innovation Officer of the Year in both 2024 and 2025, alongside international recognition including the SBID Award for the Most Intelligent Project Worldwide, celebrated at the House of Lords in London.

An HEC Paris Executive MBA graduate and Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP), Amr serves on international simulation committees, advisory boards, mentors health-tech startups through Qatar’s TASMU SMART Accelerator, supports HEC Paris EMBA candidate selection, and has spoken internationally across 20+ countries.
